Document Handling Features are Great Enhancements for Accounts Payable in "Dynamics GP 2013 R2"

Microsft Dynamics GP 2013 R2 is out to make Document Handling easier for Dynamics GP Users who specialize in Sales and Purchasing. One new feature for the newly released R2 is the ability to add an attachment to your Payables. This feature will make it easier to track such items as submitted Reciepts, Expense Reports, Invoices and other scanned documents. Take a peek below at this screen shot from Dynamics GP R2, and notice the familiar window and buttons to attach a document.

After listening to Dynamics Users and their feedback, Microsoft has added numerous Document Handling features. Listed here are just a few of the updated features in R2 for Documents:

  • Print Reaming Docs for Email
  • Email or Print any report in Microsoft Word
  • Email based on document type
  • Scan Documents Directly to Doc Attach from Scanner
  • OLE File Attachments replaced with Doc Attach
  • OLE Object Migration Utility
